Be Healthy with Nestle Acti-V

As a mom of three, I have to be in tiptop shape to be able to cope with the daily rigors of tasks, big and small, that come my way whether home or work-related. As all moms (and dads) out there will agree with me, there is one thing we can’t afford to be: get sick.

One of the most common complaints we hear from people is that inability to have a regular bowel movement. There are those who take their time doing the deed so to speak but have to wake up early in order to do so otherwise, they will spend a lot of time on the task and be late for whatever appointments that they have for the day. Working moms and dads can relate with this predicament.

Being constipated is something people can do away with especially with symptoms that can cause discomfort and impede daily activities. If you have (1) infrequent bowel movements, (2) swollen abdomen or feels bloated and (3) feels pain in the abdominal area then you definitely have constipation.

The causes of constipation can be from any or all of the following: (1) inadequate water intake, (2) a disruption of the diet or routine, (3) stress [AHA!!], (4) resisting the urge to have a bowel movement [familiar?], (5) overuse of laxatives or stool softeners which may weaken the bowel muscles [ugh!] and (6) inadequate fiber in the diet.

Nestle Acti-V

If in case you suffer constipation often, there are three quick solutions to your problem: (1) Try to drink 2 – 4 extra glasses of water a day, that is on top of what you usually drink, (2) Take warm liquids especially in the morning [ok, time to do the lemon slice in warm water routine] and (3) add fiber to your daily diet. And to make it more delicious and sweeter, try NESTLE ACTI-V with ACTIFIBRAS

On Selfies

Are you fond of taking selfies? If you are living under a rock for the past year or so and ask what on earth is a selfie, this is what a selfie means:

Selfie means “taking a photo of oneself.” To take your own picture, you either extend your hand to make sure your face is within the frame of the front-facing camera or you stand before a mirror and take a shot of your reflection.Taken from this article I wrote.

I’m sure all of us have taken selfie photos at one time or another and with one that we publish online or have brochure printing companies print, there are probably ten more we have in our files. How do I know?

I just know, lol.

Trees in the Parking Lot

These are the trees in the school’s parking lot where my children go to.

Enrollment for @bethanycf

If I remember it right, this tree used to have a wrap-around terrace where the children can play on. Attach to the terrace are wooden slides that they can use to get down. The playground became a parking lot. A part of the playground still stands though.

I’ve seen a few students who love to stay there. Sometimes they sing along with someone playing a guitar (and maybe an autoharp at musicians friend) or just sing acapella, which is good because they try to make a harmony among their voices.

Just remembering. My eldest used to love playing at this spot.

In Death Series

Been reading a series of ebooks by J.D. Robb or Nora Roberts called “In Death” with a futuristic setting where droids serve the people and where cars can fly and move on land. Oh yeah, intergalatic space travel is very easy to do.

What got me curious was the home security setting where everything is computerized, including camera settings, car settings and entries and exits on homes. No wonder people in the series are confident to keep their valuables like real precious stones, maybe even gold ounces as well as antiques which are what we currently use these days like guns and weapons.

I’d like something like that at home to keep out the unwanted intruders.

But even the most secured premises are vulnerable to people who are desperate to go inside where they are unwanted.

Ok, going back to the series. I just love Eve Dallas and Roarke.
