Kick-Start Learning Experience with Licealiz

One of the most anticipated events in a child’s life is going back to school. Though it is time to say goodbye to summer fun, play dates and relaxed days, there is no need to say adios to clean and lice-free hair. It could be challenging but moms can maintain their children’s good hair hygiene even if they spend the whole day in school.

Here’s how:  Lamoiyan Corporation’s Licealiz Head Lice Treatment Shampoo. Licealiz is an affordable, non-toxic formula that is clinically-proven to kill lice and nits.

One of the reasons why some children have a hard time in school or has few friends who will play with them is because these children have head lice. It also makes the child conscious. With Licealiz, these children can be lice-free and would be able to use their full potential in learning in school as well as making the most of their time with their socialization with their friends.

Recently, moms and their daughters, through the Kick-starting the Learning Experience workshop were given a chance to bond while learning tips on how to keep their daughters’ hair well-maintained.

Lectures on basic hair care, ways to prevent hair lice infestation and preparation for the current school year to ensure the child’s health remain uncompromised by threats such as pediculosis or head lice were discussed.

Fashionable hairstyles were also taught through a hairstyle tutorial for easy-to-do and preppy look for the school were also done. My daughter’s hairstyle, which I braided and used colored rubber bands wrapped on hairpins and inserted in various areas of the hair to make it look colorful and unique. We were one of the winner, by the way, yey!

Robatayaki Izakaya Nobunaga

If you are in Manila and you are craving for Japanese food, head over to Robatayaki Izakaya Nobunaga sushi restaurant at 1644 A. Mabini Street, Malate, Manila.

The servings are big, hindi tinipid ang ingredients.

The ingredients are fresh. The taste is just right. My katsudon was crunchy and sa totoo lang, I had a hard time eating the whole order because the size is big.

The prices are reasonable. Expect to pay 800-1,000 for 2-3 people.

The place is big and there are enough tables to seat around approximately 40 people or even more. Photo taken around opening time.

The eating area is cool. You can see the food preparation in the open kitchen. There is parking for around 3-4 cars in front. You can also see a lot of Japanese eating in this restaurant.  The owner is usually in the restaurant overseeing the operations.

For more information, visit their Facebook Page: Robatayaki Izakaya Nobunaga
Opening hours: 11AM – 2AM

Healthy Human Water Bottles

We love our Healthy Human water bottles. There is no need to add ice cubes in it because the water is still cold after 8 hours has passed. It is sturdy and the matte finish is good to avoid little scratches. It has a soft cloth cover for each but I bought another cover with handle that can be used as shoulder strap from the Japan thrift stores.

We got the 21oz insulated stainless steel water bottles.

Quorn Non-Meat Grounds Recipe

We love Quorn non-meat grounds. It is like meat, only it isn’t. The texture is like meat and if cooked correctly, it doesn’t feel and taste like a non-meat ingredient. The kids and the hubby do not complain but instead say that it feels like they are eating meat, that is not meat.

Quorn is made with Mycoprotein, a fermented, natural, nutritious fungus taken from the soil. Mycoprotein is high in protein, high in fiber, low in saturated fat, and has no cholesterol. It’s texture is just like meat without the oil “sebo” effect when the cooked food turns cold.

Here are a few recipes I have made with the Quorn non-meat grounds:

Slowcooked Lasagna:

Sautéed with onions, garlic, a little vegetable oil and cooked with carrots and potatoes:

Sautéed with onion, garlic and cooked with tomato sauce and carrots:

Sautéed with onions and garlic, cooked with fresh brown mushroom and tomato sauce. Add cooked penne pasta for a pasta meal.

Pancake House

#TreasureJarFinds Mushroom Omelette for last Friday’s (September 1) lunch in between workload. This is filling and delicious.

Mushroom Burger steak and 2pcs Classic Panfried Chicken

Halo-halo, without ice cream.

2nd and 3rd photos were from two weeks ago.

Pancake House has been a favorite restaurant of the family for a long time. The servings are big, the taste is good. The food being served feel like these were made from a family home kitchen.

Not ad, we paid for these meals.
