Jell-O No Bake Cherry Cheesecake

So I make cheesecake at home. From a ready-made box that we love: Jell-O No Bake cherry cheesecake. I made a strawberry cheesecake here  :D

Cherry

My children love it and a cheesecake doesn’t last long. When I did this last week, I was doing some online research about construction (specifically on getting discount laminate flooring for a friend who is in the process of building a new home) and didn’t noticed the kids were “devouring” the cheesecake. They left a wee slice for me though.

I got these boxes from a duty-free store and they want me to look for boxes in nearby supermarkets. I already did and these stores don’t have these products. Where I got it from was more than a hundred kilometers away from home, argh.

I may have to learn how to make a “real” cheesecake the hard way. I hope I am up to it ;)

Bracelet a Breloques

My colorful  Bracelet a Breloques which I ordered from and made by a good friend of mine.

Bracelet a Breloques

I love it and so did my eldest daughter so she had me ask Gelli to make her a set with the colors of her choice: pink, black and purple.

Happy weekend!

Cafe 5845, Dishes with Kraft Eden Cheese

Cafe 5845 is a unique cheese cafe, the only one in the Philippines, has opened last July 24, 2010 at the SM Mall of Asia.

Cafe 5845 is made possible with the partnership of a great brand name and a trusted institution: Kraft Eden Cheese and MIHCA, Magsaysay Center for Hospitality and Culinary Arts.

Different menus will be served daily so you will never ran out of new dishes (with cheese) to try until the end of August.

Kraft Eden Cheese and MIHCA achieved the Guinness World Record of the most number of dishes cooked with cheese last December 2009 at the Araneta Coliseum.

The number? 5,845 dishes cooked with Kraft Eden  cheese.

Cheese Dynamite

Pssst…that piece of chili stuffed with cheese, breaded and crunchy, is THE bomb! Aptly so since it is called Cheese Dynamite. I absolutely love it!

Free Food

Who doesn’t like free food? And FREE goody bags?

steak

I’m guessing even if someone is taking appetite suppressants the idea of free food is something that is difficult to pass on. It is not the calories but the idea that this is free that is the bait :D

Beach Bound, Finalleh!

I need to lose weight. ASAP. :D

We are beach-bound in two weeks’ time, a post-summer short vacation, never mind if we are having the rainy season these days. Still I would say: “Woot!!!”

I know, maybe even if I run around the neighborhood (horrors!) several times everyday plus the lot of the best weight loss pills can’t take off the pounds that fast. Yep, I’ve gotten that big already.

So now, I will wait for an email that will tell me what to do even if the clock goes tick-tocking and nears the time I head to the beach.

The Event

Am on the lookout for new TV series and I got interested in NBC’s The Event.

Even if I know not being able to watch a show or two in series like this especially when the clip won’t play because I am not in any US territory, will make me feel wanting for more, still a good storyline will not prevent me from watching. I hope I won’t forget the day and the time though since I am 12 hours earlier :D
