Dona Elena Cuisinera Celebrity Cook-off Challenge

The Dona Elena Cuisinera Club Celebrity Cook-off Challenge happened at Annabel’s Restaurant on Tomas Morato in Quezon City yesterday, October 24, 2009.

Two teams competed for the coveted Golden Spoon. Both teams had a chef who instructed the team members what to do.

Twisted Body?

photohunter

For this Saturday’s Photo Hunter theme twisted, I present to you, the magician’s assistant with her twisted body. Well, it is more like body cut in half  🙁

twisted? mangled?

Fear not, it IS a magic trick we saw from this party. Woot, woot!

Red Ribbon White Forest Cake

Introducing Red Ribbon’s White Forest cake:

  • Creamy white chocolate.
  • Moist white chiffon layered with real bits of cherry, white chocolate flakes and cream.
  • Crowned with beautiful cream rosettes topped with long-stemmed maraschino cherries.
  • Loaded with melt-in-your-mouth white chocolate shavings.

What more can you ask for? Nothing more I guess, and as I slowly savored bites from a slice earlier, I tried not to think about best diet pills yet. I can always go walking tomorrow.

Get your cake now and experience the creamy goodness of Red Ribbon’s White Forest cake. Available in Red Ribbon stores starting September 18, 2009.

Parties by Lets Paint D Town Red

Yesterday we attended a third birthday party and a baptism celebration rolled into one during the two celebrators’ dad’s birthday. What a triple treat!

Yes, it is a treat to attend a party and events planner‘s party. Hurray to you Kim, your parties are getting grander year after year!

safari theme balloon decor

Magic show. Festive decorations. Photo wall with free photos to take home. Dog show. The works! and yes, lots of cool giveaways to the kids.

In one party I attended (NOT Kim’s), play areas are stationed throughout the venue for the kids to play and win prizes. One would think, they could even set up ping pong tables there, or maybe arcade games but that would defeat the purpose of the guests being entertained as a group.

Everything to keep the guests entertained are there and yes, we were entertained indeed.

Just in case you want to have your party done this way, contact Kim here.

Celebrating Wedding Anniversaries

It is not the number of years that count but the memories.

Let me rephrase that: celebrating wedding anniversaries does not just involve doing something special. This also involves strengthening the bond that brought two strangers together.

How will you make your or a wedding anniersary more special?
