Choose Your Drink

So many drinks to choose from! What do you think you will buy to open and quench your thirst?

drinks

I’d get an ice-cold can of soda anytime but I am trying very hard to stop drinking these to avoid more weight gain. I am usually out when I see these things and with the scorching weather, I’d want to have headache relief from the heat, I’d probably settle for a bottle of water or Gatorade.

I sure hope these two are the most logical choices.

Yummy cheesy pizza, perfect for a light (light?) afternoon snack. This is the kind of pizza my children prefer, no frills but flavorful.

Sunset for Grandpa

The end of last year signaled grief to my father’s side of the family when a grand uncle passed away. We were able to visit him a few days before he breathed his last and it was a bittersweet memory that he still recognized me, disoriented though he was.

Spending some time with them, albeit it was a very short time made me realize how much I have been amiss on what is happening with them. Continue Reading »

Right Foot

Right foot of my son who loves to play outdoors, the other half of his pair of often dirty feet. He loves to walk barefoot in the house.

Running after kids is a good way to exercise even without fitness equipment.

With the way children are plopped in front of a computer or game console, they miss out on a lot of things that playing with friends and/or playing outdoors can give them.

Black Olives

Vegetable salads are one of my favorite food. Below is a bowl of vegetable salad I prepared: cheese cubes, Romaine lettuce, black olives, cucumber, tomato and carrot slices.

It just occurred to me and I just checked, I already featured this photo in this blog post for my 2010 Project 365 (which is not updated by the way for almost a month!)

Ice Cream

The sweet ice cream just got sweeter with chocolate syrup.

Summer = unbearable heat. See how fast the ice cream melted before the children even started scooping their share. The kids even kidded it felt like having a chocolate milk shake than ice cream :D
