We celebrate Mother’s day every second Sunday of May. One way to say “thank you” to our dearest moms. Those special people who we look up to as second moms, they may be our tita, grandma, mentor, teacher, or even our yaya deserve to know how much we appreciate and love them.
Though overlooked with their efforts mostly going unnoticed, anyone you’ve come to consider as a second mother has undoubtedly made an impact. Extend your sweetest thank-you’s to them – the same way that Toblerone will be honouring the unsung heroes of our everyday lives in a big celebration on October 20. And yes, your yaya, teacher and lola and all the other women whom you’ve regarded as your second moms—are invited to this event. In the meantime, make Mothers’ Day extra special for them by thanking them with Triangles. Thank them with Toblerone.
Be sure to log on to www.toblerone.com.ph and discover new ways to thank those 2nd moms on Mothers’ Day.

Addiction is a strong word. If this is going to be used to describe my preference for digital game, then Plants Versus Zombies would be my choice. For now.
We enjoy playing the games here over and over again. We try to develop various plant combination to prevent these zombies from entering our house.
I was a bit tempted to use cheat codes but nah, that would lessen the fun and the challenge. Even without these, we still managed to complete the lineup of plants and zombies after a few days.
I even forgot a friend’s request about helping her find the best fat burners for her beach trip a few weeks from now because I am always busy fighting zombies on my lawn 😀

Confetti falling from the roof adds up to the excitement of events and gatherings, especially during ceremonial toasts, congratulatory portion and awarding of grand prizes.
Of course, this could be a bit of a problem during toasts.
When we went to the opening ceremony of the recently concluded Manila International Auto Show, some of the confetti from the roof looked like loose diamonds, according to my daughter who was watching from a distance.
Well, if that’s the case, I would be the first to catch a few 😀

The sweet ice cream just got sweeter with chocolate syrup.
Summer = unbearable heat. See how fast the ice cream melted before the children even started scooping their share. The kids even kidded it felt like having a chocolate milk shake than ice cream 😀

A trio of dips from Mang Inasal: vinegar, chicken oil and soy sauce.
Mang Inasal stores are just about anywhere. In the area where we live, there is one nearby but another one is being constructed.
Unlimited rice. For the uninitiated, rice is staple food in the Philippines and is present in almost every meal.(Yes, figure conscious people should have their weight loss pills ready 😀 )
We like eating here because the food being served are “homely” and simple.
