Nestle Fitnesse 14 Days to Show Off Your Shape

Whenever we go to our favorite supermarket’s aisle where the cereals are being sold, we always get two boxes: one big box of cereals for the kids and a box of Nestle Fitnesse cereals for me. I love it that I can have cereals that feel light, and yummy enough to munch on by itself.

Anyway, last Saturday, my friends (who are also blogging moms) and I met for a special occasion. We talked about Nestle Fitnesse 14 Days to Show Off Your Shape Contest. Based on the contest mechanics, we see that we have a chance to join this contest ourselves, haha!

Hmmm… should we join this contest and get the chance to wear fashionable and expensive clothes with labels that read Hermes, Rhett Eala, Michi Calica, Religioso, Kate Torralba, Jun Escario, Chanel or 7 for All Mankind?

Michi Calica

Fat chance you say?

I say think slim and fit for this dress below:

Healthy Living

Healthy living is not something we should decide upon to adapt or not, as a lifestyle.

Healthy living is the only choice if we put our perspectives in order.

Why not? Being healthy is one ticket to a life that is not riddled with chemical-induced relief from pain and hospital bills.

There are even some illnesses where people need to travel to seek help.Going for cancer treatments in the USA, spine surgery Mexico, and probably even seeking ayurvedic medicine treatments in India are just some of the costly steps people have in order to be healthy again.

Some would even travel to places where it is said that prayers and prayer offerings can give miraculous effect.

Becoming healthy or espousing a healthy living starts with the self.

How?

Some first steps to be considered would be healthy eating, having a fitness program, getting enough sleep and not getting stressed too much.

Yes, it seems like an impossibility to some but taking one small step at a time will surely help one live a lifestyle considered healthy.

Del, Hypoallergenic Fabric Softener

Itchy and grumpy allergic kids?

Protect your child from skin allergy like rashes and itchiness by using hypoallergenic products. These hypoallergenic products are not just limited to using body creams, lotions and soaps.

Using products that are safe for the children’s sensitive skin and definitely mommy recommended is important to ensure the best products for them:

Now there is a hypoallergenic fabric softener from the makers of Green Cross alcohol: Del Hypollergenic Fabric Softener in Pure Cotton Scent:

We have tried this and the kids love the scent. Clothes are softer too 🙂

Food Photos

Looking at food photos do not just make me want to go run to the kitchen (ok the supermarket first to get the ingredient which I know I may not have) to cook up something that I know we will enjoy. Not that I am a great cook but what I prepare passes the standards of the kids. Well, we know how kids can be picky.

Anyway, looking at food photos make me think of reading diet pill reviews. Gah!

My food photos can be found here and here.

Now, I’m off to the kitchen to prepare the fresh tomatoes for the pasta 🙂

Health Books Wanted

I have written about books in this post.

We do have books about different topics but I have noticed that we do not have a lot of books that has topics about health.

I had to resort to researching what the web has to offer when one time, my father talked about a certain kind of cancer that made his former bosses decide to strip the flooring of their offices many years ago.

It was in fact called Mesothelioma cancer and thanks to the web, we knew what it was called.

The offices had new tiles for the flooring because of the possible effect of the asbestos on the health of the people.

I wish employers are as considerate as what my father had while he was working.

And now I know what is missing in our library, health books.

Open Your Mouth and Say “Ahhhh…”

My children need to visit a dentist soon. Some of their teeth need tending. We have been dentist shopping too for the last five years and have been to three dentists. Of course I wish to have a regular dentist to go to, whether he is a Plano Dentist or someone who is geographically closer to home.

I believe that dentists play a big role in teaching about oral hygiene and taking care of the teeth. For children, it is not easy to open their mouth and say “ahhh…” to strangers wearing masks and holding things for poking the mouth.

There should be a trust, a bonding that should develop first before they sit on that big dental chair 🙂
