Cleanliness in the kitchen. This is a very important thing to remember.
Why not? Food is being prepared here, food not only to feed hungry tummies but food that will also nourish.
One of the most important places to observe cleanliness is the kitchen sink where most of the food being prepared, as well as the dishes and silverware that go with the food are washed and cleaned.
I use vinegar and/or baking soda in cleaning our sink and the tiles surrounding it. These two are more environment friendly and less harsh than chemicals.
What about you?

I love coffee. Who doesn’t? Even my only son, when asked what is his favorite smell, he would answer “coffee’. Yes, he says it is his favorite smell in the world. LOL.
Anyway, hubby told me of a coffee machine that they have in their office and I know it is impossible but I wanted to tell him that I want one at home! Imagine having four kinds of coffee anytime I want to? Wow.
Hmmmm… maybe not that kind and I would gladly settle for a Nespresso because I might have a caffeine overdose with that bigger machine.
Ok, that does it. I am going to get my second cup now.

Looking at food photos do not just make me want to go run to the kitchen (ok the supermarket first to get the ingredient which I know I may not have) to cook up something that I know we will enjoy. Not that I am a great cook but what I prepare passes the standards of the kids. Well, we know how kids can be picky.
Anyway, looking at food photos make me think of reading diet pill reviews. Gah!
My food photos can be found here and here.
Now, I’m off to the kitchen to prepare the fresh tomatoes for the pasta 🙂

I apologize for the uncooked seafood but I could not resist posting this photo of a crablet in the clam. I got a kilo of these halaan for lunch and decided to take photos when I got surprised to see these little creatures. Yep, around half the clams had these crablets inside.
Here are some (soon-to-be) baked mussels and mussels cooked in lemongrass broth which I am sure some of you have already seen.
Have a great week, everyone!

Whenever I see food photos, I feel like grabbing these yummy food and have a bite. Or two.
I am constantly telling myself about the need to eat healthier, well, i do but knowing about the many food saboteurs around me doesn’t really help.
I remember someone who has been taking appetite suppressant as a way to not give in to the temptation of taking too much food.
Personally, I believe that self-discipline is one of the keys to keeping the weight off and with everything else, change start with the self.
