The shift of career choices among Filipino college students depends upon the world economic growth, as I have personally observed. This may not be true but then again, this is my personal opinion.
More two decades ago, the health care career particularly those of nurses were amongst those who were wanted overseas. Earlier than that time, engineers and those who work in the construction and building were also needed elsewhere in the world particularly in the Middle East.
During the 80s, the shift to a different medical and health care option was physical and occupational therapy courses. This was also the decade then those who took the plunge in computer technology or computer science paved the way for IT experts and programmers who were needed overseas. It was also during this time when and until now, that teachers were being needed overseas.

Egg sandwich has got to be one of my favorite sandwich fillings, whether prepared with a little bit of mayo, pickles and cheese or cooked as scrambled egg where greens and tomatoes are added in the ensemble, yes, I have simple tastes ๐
I love to prepare this as a sandwich filling (more than I love to buy these egg sandwiches already made) because not only is the spread a tummy filler, it is also nutritious.
I used a French Baker raisin bonnet in this sandwich.
Just go to another place away from people if you feel that you can not hold it in for the after-smell is not good, hahaha!

I love to travel.
If I have the time and the resources, I have already traveled with my family to a lot of places and have a lot of fond memories.
Some of the places where I really want to go to would be Death Valley in California, the Singing Sand Dunes in Morocco and the ruins of ancient Greece and Rome.
A Machu Picchu travel is also a great idea along with an Egyptian travel to the pyramids.
Oh well, dream on, for who knows, I will be able to go to these places sooner than I think if I wish hard enough ๐
Flowers have natural colors and these are one of the best things to use when teaching and learning about colors.
Here is a violet flower in my other entry for this week’s PURPLE theme in Photo Hunter.
Below is a bunch of lilac flowers that are very small and dainty-looking:
This kind of flower comes in many colors like orange, red and yellow.
Beautiful but if I remember it right, these have an awful smell, ugh!

Summer is supposed to be the time when one should look good enough to fit into a swimsuit ๐
But with ice cream temptations and other cold, yummy and sweet concoctions, one would surely need the best appetite suppressants to be able to resist the urge to grab one of these or maybe two ๐
So, how do you stay clear of these sugar-laden sweet and cold treats?
- Drinks lots of water
- Have fresh fruits instead
- Have drinks as natural as can be like smoothies but be sure to cut down on the sugar since the fruits are naturally sweet already
- Don’t go to the malls where you are most like tempted to buy yourself a cone or a special

Graduation rites have come and gone and I am sure there are a lot of happy people there with regards to the rewards they have gotten after these rites
My daughter for one got some cash and a gift cheque which she used to buy two pairs of shoes which she has been eyeing for some time
I am sure there are new toys, sports gifts, clothes and with the summer heat just beating us, tickets for travels to the beaches to chill out and escape the summer heat for a while, so many wonderful choices to choose from! ๐
