Egg Sandwich

Egg sandwich has got to be one of my favorite sandwich fillings, whether prepared with a little bit of mayo, pickles and cheese or cooked as scrambled egg where greens and tomatoes are added in the ensemble, yes, I have simple tastes πŸ™‚

I love to prepare this as a sandwich filling (more than I love to buy these egg sandwiches already made) because not only is the spread a tummy filler, it is also nutritious.

I used a French Baker raisin bonnet in this sandwich.

Just go to another place away from people if you feel that you can not hold it in for the after-smell is not good, hahaha!

Sweet Summer Treats

Summer is supposed to be the time when one should look good enough to fit into a swimsuit πŸ˜€

But with ice cream temptations and other cold, yummy and sweet concoctions, one would surely need the best appetite suppressants to be able to resist the urge to grab one of these or maybe two πŸ™

So, how do you stay clear of these sugar-laden sweet and cold treats?

  • Drinks lots of water
  • Have fresh fruits instead
  • Have drinks as natural as can be like smoothies but be sure to cut down on the sugar since the fruits are naturally sweet already
  • Don’t go to the malls where you are most like tempted to buy yourself a cone or a special

Graduation Gift Ideas

Graduation rites have come and gone and I am sure there are a lot of happy people there with regards to the rewards they have gotten after these rites

My daughter for one got some cash and a gift cheque which she used to buy two pairs of shoes which she has been eyeing for some time

I am sure there are new toys, sports gifts, clothes and with the summer heat just beating us, tickets for travels to the beaches to chill out and escape the summer heat for a while, so many wonderful choices to choose from! πŸ™‚

French Toast

I know this is a Lasang Pinoy Sundays meme and my title is French Toast πŸ˜‰ The LaPiS theme for this week is MELTed bliss

This is one of the children’s favorite breakfast and snack fare: French Toast

Nothing fancy, I just mixed sweet milk (condensed) with egg, put a dash of cinnamon powder for the dip (is it called dip?)

Then I put sliced cheese on the lower half of a bread from a loaf, folded it and dipped in the egg mixture

I then cooked this with a little melted butter turning over the bread once one side is cooked and the bread is ready to be served πŸ™‚ The melted cheese inside is just plain bliss πŸ™‚

The kids have this with cold chocolate milk or just plain milk, yummy!

Fine Dining Means Eating Less While Paying More

Fine dining is something we don’t usually do, especially if we are the ones who will foot the bill. Yes, its that expensive on this side of the planet. Truth is, I would rather try (very hard) cooking food fit for fine-dining and serve these at home πŸ˜€

That is how a miser I am we are (oops, nabuking).

Anyway, here is a photo of a fine dining restaurant’s table, sans the china and silverware:

‘Hence, I am leaving it all up to you to help me come up with a more accurate description.” You wrote this and to that I answer:

fine dining means eating less while paying more πŸ˜‰

So how do we eat these wee things?
