Black Olives
Vegetable salads are one of my favorite food. Below is a bowl of vegetable salad I prepared: cheese cubes, Romaine lettuce, black olives, cucumber, tomato and carrot slices.
It just occurred to me and I just checked, I already featured this photo in this blog post for my 2010 Project 365 (which is not updated by the way for almost a month!)

Fish Fillet and Mushrooms in Oriental Sauce
We had this for dinner the other night: Fish Fillet and Mushrooms in Oriental Sauce which I saw Chef Golda cook during the February 27, 2010 Light Meal Recipes with Dona Elena Cuisinera Club.
The kids loved it, and the husband did too. They were raving about how good the food smelled, “like those served in Chinese restaurants”. I am happy of course that they were able to appreciate once again what I prepared for them.
Here was what I cooked using cream dory fillet from SM Hypermarket Centris.

Low-Cal, Low-Carb Recipes
When I attended the Dona Elena Cuisinera Club’s Summer Recipes (low-cal and low-carb)Â Cooking Demo on the last Saturday of February, I was tempted to look around the mall where it was held because there was a sale going on. But of course I did not, even after the cooking demo was done. *heaves a sigh of relief*
Anyway, I will be featuring the three recipes done later today when I have the time. I just need to get my bag I left in my MIL’s home for a copy of the recipes.
Here are three photos for each of the recipes prepared:
I will be back later ASAP 😉
Multicolored Plastic Pots
Inside these multicolored plastic pots are seeds planted in a mixture of non soil mix and used coffee grounds. These are being sprayed with water on a daily basis.
It smells like a cafe in this area and why not, these used coffee grounds can be had FOR FREE from Starbucks.
You can ask for a bag or two from a branch near you when you have time to grab a cup.
