Yiruma

I’ve always admired people who play the piano well. Ahem, the hubby used to play the piano for me. Used to, he can’t find time to play these days, being busy and all that stuff. All he ever ticks are laptop keyboards.

The hubby and I watched Jim Chappell from a different lifetime. We enjoy Yanni’s music, as well as David Benoit’s and maybe a couple more that I can’t remember.

A while ago I was listening (or more like You-Tubing) to a young man play the guitar with exceptional skills, I noticed the name Yiruma beside his videos. They are both Koreans.

Here is a video of Yiruma’s music.

Be prepared to be touched with the emotions that go with the song. It will surely tug your heart strings and open those tear ducts.

Skin Care with Celeteque Advanced

I’ve written in this post about Aging Gracefully and now I’m going to “face” these lines with Celeteque Advanced. Yep,we may not admit it but we all are looking for that fountain of youth that will make us stop the aging process, well, at least with how we look since we can’t be living forever.

Anyway, one of my favorite products, Celeteque, has a new line of beauty products: Celeteque Advanced.

Celeteque Advanced

Celeteque Anti-Wrinkle Facial Moisturizer (SRP PhP620.00), Celeteque Advanced Anti-Wrinkle Ultra-Hydrating Cleanser (Light Cleansing Oil) (SRP PhP369.00) and Celeteque Advanced Anti-Aging Power Serum Concentrated (SRP PhP 699.00).

Celeteque Anti-Wrinkle Facial Moisturizer is (also) good for sensitive skin because it is fragrance-free, dermatologist-tested and doesn’t clog the pores.

Celeteque Advanced

Celeteque Advanced Anti-Wrinkle Ultra-Hydrating Cleanser (Light Cleansing Oil) is good for cleaning the face and removing make-up. It’s dual vitamin regenerating complex increases the skin’s elasticity and moisture content. In just 6 weeks, skin firms up and strengthens while fine lines are reduced.

Celeteque Advanced

Celeteque Advanced Anti-Aging Power Serum Concentrated has power serum made up of Cytostimulin Lipopeptides and exotic fruits extracts. These provide strong anti-aging and anti-oxidant properties against DNA damage and smoothens the skin in as early as 1 week of usage.

Who says looking good and being wrinkle-free needs to be expensive? Get these products at your favorite beauty store now.

Incidentally, Celeteque has a contest for bloggers out there.

Here are the mechanics:

  1. Try out any of the new Celeteque products
  2. Write an honest/balanced review about the product(s) you’ve tried in 100 words or so
  3. Include the link of the blog url where you saw the contest -> http://treasurejar.info/2011/06/07/skin-care-with-celeteque-advanced/
  4. You can also post the blog entry in your FB page and please don’t forget to tag @Unilab
  5. Submit details of the entry to unilab.fb@gmail.com with the following details:

There will be 2 winners of this contest and deadline of submission of entries will be up to June 12 (rolls eyes, I know, you only got several days more to do this, LOL)

Winners will be announced on June 15.

Winners will receive an Innovitelle line-up of beauty products and a P2000 GC from FOREVER21. Cool huh?

Wedding in the Family

Several people I know has altar dates this year and next year too. In fact, we have a family wedding in less than a month.

I’m sure my BIL had a difficult time choosing the best one among so many choices for diamond engagement rings, just as he and his would-be wife spent a lot of time choosing the textile, styles and color coordination of the formal wear their entourage would be wearing.

They even had family members fit new clothes just for the occasion. Hmmm… maybe because they know I don’t have decent and acceptable clothes to wear, haha.

My two younger children are included in the entourage, the son as a ring bearer and the younger daughter as a flower girl.

Both are excited of course even if they feel a bit bad they have to miss a school day for this affair.

Rainy Days Are Here

The nights are colder now and rarely do I hear the complaint “it’s hot” from people. The rains, torrential and like cats and dogs most of the time, just when the children are on their way home from school, are at times too much to handle.

To those living in higher altitude, I guess it is time to bring out those heated mattress pads. For us who are in the lowlands, we minimize the use of electrical appliances that make the rooms cool since there is a lot of cool air circulating around.

Every afternoon, strong rains beat down on us. A lot of people are getting sick because from morning till mid-afternoon the sun is shining so brightly but the rains come down from mid-afternoon till evening.

How can one prepare for the rainy days to avoid getting sick?

  1. Take plenty of vit c love, be these in tablet form or from fresh sources.
  2. Get enough sleep and eat the right kind of food.
  3. Bring your umbrella and/or raincoat and/or rain gear every time you step out of your house.
  4. Rest if you fell unwell.
  5. Consult a doctor for persistent cough, flu, fever and/or runny nose.

It’s Been Awhile

It has been awhile, no, it has been a long time since we last went to our family biking/walking/running bonding time.

Sunday

The thule rack is dusty and so are the bikes. The kids still can’t ride without training wheels and that is something not to be proud of because they are not that young anymore.

I always tell the family, next Sunday we will go do these things again but sleep, that elusive sleep wins over more than anything including breakfast and the need to be fit.

I always tell myself, tomorrow, I will start my early morning walking routine but then either the online lure is more powerful or the bed is pulling me back to its soft comfort.

On Sunday, we will do something different and I am hoping even with the lack of preparation, my legs are up to the task even if I still feel pain from walking and hiking for two days with my school children.
