25 Photos

These photos were for a photo scavenger hunt (different from the Saturday Photo Hunter meme that I participate) that I plan to join but was not able to.

Some photos included were taken by my 13yo daughter.

1. A View from Above (looking down)

Airplane ride from Bohol to Manila (photo taken by my 13yo daughter)

2. A Macro Shot

Sunflowers are very bright and lovely flowers

3. Laughter

Going down a slide is pure happiness

4. Relaxation

A respite and shade from the noon heat

5. A Celebration

6. A Sunset

7. Sun/Lens Flare

Sun flare being blocked by a big leaf

8.  A Bridge

Would you dare cross that hanging bridge? No, there are no crocodiles lying in wait just in case you fall down but then, that would double the fun, wouldn’t it? (Photo taken by my 13yo daughter)

9.  A Shadow

Wouldn’t you know, it is almost high noon but because of the shadows cast by the trees, this road is quite shady and still cool for a walk.

10.  A Garden

My MIL‘s home garden (Photo taken by my 13yo daughter)

Say it With Roses

Happy anniversary. Happy Birthday. I love you. I’m sorry.

Sometimes words are not enough and we opt to say what we want to be made known through flowers.

Roses from Island Rose

This same rose came from Island Rose.

Have a great weekend all ye Photo Hunters 🙂

For this Saturday’s Photo Hunter theme twisted, I present to you, the magician’s assistant with her twisted body. Well, it is more like body cut in half  🙁

twisted? mangled?

Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening

Walking is the theme for Photo Hunter and the first thing that came to mind was Robert Frost’s poem: “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening”

In another PH entry is a photo of my two younger children and my husband walking hand-in-hand.

Below is a B & W photo of a wooded area that we love to go to:

I know there is no snow here but I think this is a fitting photo for my interpretation of the poem considering my geographical location 😉

This is one of our family’s favorite Sunday destination where we can go walking in the woods and biking and even have picnic lunch on a mat.

I also used Robert Frost’s “The Road not Taken” in another PH post about roads.

Below is Robert Frost’s poem:

Barbed Wire

Protect(ion) is the theme for Photo Hunter this Saturday.

Below is a photo of barbed wire over grills with a ocher sunset sky backdrop.

No, that is not a prison fence. It is our home fence.

Why the grills and the barbed wire? For some protection against intruders.

Lilac Flowers

Flowers have natural colors and these are one of the best things to use when teaching and learning about colors.

Here is a violet flower in my other entry for this week’s PURPLE theme in Photo Hunter.

Below is a bunch of lilac flowers that are very small and dainty-looking:

This kind of flower comes in many colors like orange, red and yellow.

Beautiful but if I remember it right, these have an awful smell, ugh!
