It has been almost a month ago since I blogged about the handmade notepad I made.
When I was too excited to make these, I used small tools to make the notepads. Good thing we have these because from time to time, or when inspiration strikes, I do some crafts. The following were the things I used to make these:
- cutter for the colored papers
- scissors to trim the sides of the cut papers
- glue
- stickers and scrap-booking embellishments
- one hole puncher for the ring

Handmade notepads I made weeks ago to be given to special friends 🙂

Last year’s tree was adorned with handmade decorations like little paper trees, photos and yes, paper stockings. Below is one of the many photos we have put up the tree:
These handmade decorations were tied with a silver cord.

As I have already planned to make personalized Christmas gift tags, I have also visualized what kind of wrapper I would use.
Yes, its WHITE.
White goes well with any color, doesn’t it? And this incidentally, is the theme for FilipinoMomBlog‘s Week 2 of the Fab Holiday Finds Meme.
Well white should go with any colors, especially the gift tags I made, so here are the inexpensive “Japanese papers” I bought to wrap my gifts in:

Crayola crayons have always been a part of our lives. I admit up to now, I still enjoy smelling a newly-opened box of crayons. The smell just excites me. I am glad these crayons are part of my daily grind.
One of the things that I haven’t had the experience yet is to go visit the Crayola factory to see how these crayons are made. Such adventure is one of the field trip destinations of school children here in the Philippines.
