I love the Christmas tree at my MIL’s home. The photo here does not do justice to how it looks so nice. Sitting on the sofa and cushions on the floor, what we need is a fireplace to make the room more Christmas-y than it already is.
At home, we didn’t do an elaborate Christmas tree decoration. In fact, it was the youngest child who did the tree so ours was without lights. I was not much into the swing of things about Christmas last month because of something that happened.
My first time to make homemade body scrub or DIY body scrub.
Here was what I did:

Just mix together and voila! (I deliberately added the brown sugar, that light brown part, to show how it looks like)
How to use the DIY body scrub: You can use this before bathing but be sure to wet the body parts you want to use the homemade body scrub with. Gently use the scrub on your elbows, foot and even face. Wash or rinse with your usual soap or facial/body wash.
Skin will be supple and soft after you rinse the homemade body scrub off. Wash the bathroom floor just in case there is oil residue that might cause slips to the next user.
Easy peasy. If you want to use coconut oil, you can do so. You can also opt to remove the sugar.
You can also use an electronic ph meter if you want, no one is stopping you 😀
Last week, we went to the National Geographic Channel (NGC) Doggy Day Camp.
To say the children were happy is a bit of an understatement. They had fun gushing, petting (some that they know won’t bite) and taking photos of cute, big, hairy, little, and not so hairy dogs.
The National Geographic Channel’s Doggy Day Camp had these furry friends enjoy different activities such as grooming services and massages from Furrr-pect Grooming, pedigree treats in a kibble buffet set-up by Treats Cafe and playing with other dogs at the Wilderness Pupplay.
Their humans meanwhile learned new tricks and tips from Cesar Millan, a dog behavior expert during the screening of the new season of Dog Whisperer. Dog Whisperer airs every 10 pm Wednesday at the NGC.
Born to be Wild host Ferdz Recio talked about proper nutrition while Pawsitive Education resident vet Jon Uy discussed behavioral issues of dogs. May Angela Feliz of Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) discussed about the responsibility of pet ownership. GMA7’s Aso ni San Roque’s dog named Princess was present, along with the cast of the show.
The Doggy Day Camp also had a parade and a mini agility race where Urban Sports K9. Ten of the best submitted heroic dog feats were also featured in an exhibit.

My kids are no longer babies and for that I heave a sigh of relief as I am free of several responsibilities so Yey! for that.
