Chef Golda Liamzon of the Dona Elena Cuisinera Club whipped up another yummy and nutritious food just perfect to serve for Halloween parties because the end result has yellow-y sauce: Squash Pumpkin and Sausage Pasta. FYI, Squash was used instead of pumpkin.

Squash is rich in carotene and the richer the color, the more concentration there is in the nutrients. Squash is also a good source of folic acid, fiber, vitamins B1 and C.

Dealing with hair loss is not easy, especially since one used to have thick hair.
Hubby’s hair loss has been a slow process at first but somewhere along the way, it seems that it accelerated. We have been on a lookout for a hair loss shampoo to somehow put a brake on the process, not that we can stop this even if we want to.
I recently got him a new hair brush/comb:

Perfect for his thinning hair since the ones with big bristles feel like its clutching on thin air 😀 Sorry hubby.

The Palamantasan ng Sarap, Sustansya at Saya contest in Facebook has been closed last Thursday.
BUT I can’t announce the winners just yet.
I have to say there were a LOT of participants who did not follow the rules.
One rule, specifically rule #5 was:
5. ONE PERSON ONE ENTRY ONLY
That means… wait for further announcements.

Yesterday at a mall where there was a big sale going on, hubby and I were eyeing the treadmills on display at a sports store. Since I have been too lazy to go out for my morning walks (I wake up 4am everyday and I’m too tired to go for a walk) I was thinking of getting a treadmill.
With a fun run with friends a few days to go, I might have to crawl my way to the finish line because I haven’t been keeping in shape for months. Ugh.
Between a treadmill and treatment for arthritis, which one would you choose?
I’d probably choose taking a walk because I don’t have to pay for it 😀
