We all know that babies babies have delicate and sensitive skin, right? Now, moms can protect their babies delicate skin by using Johnson’s Baby Top-to-Toe Foaming Wash when bathing their babies. Babies skin are 40% thinner than adult skin and is prone to dryness because it loses moisture at a faster rate.
Babies need to use a mild and gentle wash which was what Johnson’s has formulated in Baby Top-to-Toe Self-Foaming Wash:
- gentle cleansing in a new format: a self-foaming that lathers instantly to a fine and delicate foam in one pump, leaving baby’s skin soft and smooth
- rinsing is easier keeping bath time shorter (though of course, there are babies who enjoy bath time especially when the weather is hot)
- CLINICALLY PROVEN MILDNESS® seal and is pH-balanced for baby’s skin. It’s free from known irritants such as soap and alcohol to keep the natural moisture of baby’s skin. Its unique NO MORE TEARS® formula is a guarantee that it will not harm your baby’s eyes, and that it is as mild as pure water.
(pardon the photo taken with a mobile gadget, I left my camera at home with its duracell procell c batteries)
- Johnson’s Baby Top-to-Toe Self-Foaming Wash can be used in three easy steps:
- Rotate the pump clockwise to release the pump
- Push down the nozzle with one hand a few times until the foam is released
- Close the pump by rotating it counterclockwise

World Book and Copyright Day happens every April 23.
The National Book Development Board, the Quezon City Government and IPO Philippines will celebrate World Book and Copyright Day at the Quezon City Memorial Circle:
This is a timely event especially during summer break because children nowadays are not really into reading. Included in the day’s events are storytelling, poetry-reading and picture taking with different characters like a “pirate” symbolizing the pirate of piracy, a crime that is punishable by law.
So, put on your running shoes and ready your bike racks behind your cars and head over to QCMC on Sunday. You can run or walk or bike before or after you visit these activities at the Planas Garden.
April 22 is Earth Day too 🙂

Got summer plans already?
There is so much to do during summer and for sure, school children will not get bored with the many choices as to what they can do when school’s out:
- travel and see how much fun it is in the Philippines (needs time to plan and budget for expenses)
- cooking classes which also includes learning new skills like sanitation, cutting, sieving, food styling and nutrition facts
- photography
- styling classes
- swimming, soccer, basketball, baseball, badminton classes for the sporty ones
- piano, guitar, violin and voice lessons for the musically inclined
- summer classes, whether advanced or for failed academic subjects
- arts and crafts lessons for the crafty ones (this can be done at home because there are lots of tutorials to be found in the web)
There is so much to do during summer and there is no need for children to get bored. If budget is a problem, be creative and you can still have a lot of fun too!

Ipanema recently opened a branch called Sandalias in SM Lucena
Ipanema is a fashionable and hip Brazilian flip-flop brand. The store features the latest collection from last year’s Philippine Fashion Week alongside Ipanema Women’s and Men’s Collection, Kids line as well as Gisele Bundchen collection.
It’s nice to find something for the family members in specialty stores like Sandalias, especially with summer just a few months away.
I’m sure husbands and children will enjoy browsing their own flip flops in this store after accompanying mom who shopped for porcelain switch plates.
The “SANDALIAS” store exclusively selling Ipanema flip flops is located at the ground floor of SM City Lucena.
