In commemoration of 1992 NBA All-Star game’s 20th anniversary, adidas designed a bright orange NBA All-Star basketball shoes to pay homage to Orlando’s Orange County and Florida’s oranges.

“NBA All-Star is an exciting event that combines sports, style and entertainment unlike any other in the world,” said Lawrence Norman, adidas Vice President, Global Basketball. “NBA All-Star is the premier event to showcase adidas’ court-to-street heritage on basketball’s biggest stage and bring it to fans around the world.

adidas, Derick Rose, debuted a special NBA All-Star version of the adizero Rose 2.5, at the 61th NBA All-Star Game in Orlando.

adiZero Rose 2.5 is the fourth shoe for reigning NBA MVP and three-time NBA All-Star Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls.

adizero Rose 2.5 All-Star is available on February 17 at adidas Shops in Trinoma, Greenbelt 3, Mall of Asia, North Edsa, Cebu and at Titan. It retails at Php 7295.

The All-Star jerseys feature oversized East and West All-Star block lettering that was inspired by 1992 jerseys.

I’ve noticed something different about career choices of incoming college students these days: the courses have terms that sound different from when I was about to start college. A lot of people also choose to get online college degree rather than commute to school.

Whatever happened to the good old courses?

It seems like everyone ones to just be behind a desk in front of a computer, behind the cameras, stage and doing props of making things in digital form. Don’t these young people want to improve on the food sources and agricultural issues to increase food production? Or maybe discover a cure to lessen dengue fever or increase resistance to airborne diseases?

Times are changing yes, but if everyone wants to be the next big thing in digital arts media, who would take care of the sick? Who would teach the young ones? Who would manage the food sources?

Got summer plans already?
