New Strings

We went to have the youngest child’s guitar strings replaced yesterday at the store where we bought said guitar.

As early as 11am there was already a crowd in the mall because apparently, there was a big sale. Much as we wanted to look around especially in the building we were in where the big hardware store was located (we need to get a few things for some things like cabinet handles, threaded standoffs and batteries)

New strings, happy girl 😀

Thank you to the staff of RJ Guitar SM North EDSA Cyberzone Building.

Broken String

The youngest daughter requested that we have her guitar brought to her where she is vacationing. Three family members have been to where she is staying but alas, we can’t possibly ask them to bring a guitar with them, too big to carry.

She said however, that she just borrows an older cousin’s guitar to practice on.

They were kinda sad when one of the guitar strings broke and the one they got was not to their liking. They use elixir strings and couldn’t find a music store that carries the brand.

They said it the sound that the new string has is different. 😀

Piano-Playing Child

This is the eldest child:

piano

She loves playing the piano just like here father. She doesn’t have any formal training but she can play. I guess there is that distinct difference between a forced talent than a natural talent but I will not delve into that 😉

We don’t need to buy keyboard piano yet though there is that possibility that she may ask for one. This is at the MIL’s home. In our home, we have a Korg that they use to play.

Papier Tole

I used to do a lot of crafts back when blogging and other online activities were accessible and affordable.

Imagine my surprise when I found these two papier tole crafts I did when the need to clean up the closet came up. Whoop!

Of course the next thing to do would be to look for my tools. Sadly, I can’t remember where I placed these and I am just not in the mood to look for these in the rubble of junk in our library.

Am thinking if a Martor USA utility knife will be ok to use with the cutting of the patterns should I decide to take up doing 3D paper crafts again.
