Fun Run with Friends

Yesterday at a mall where there was a big sale going on, hubby and I were eyeing the treadmills on display at a sports store. Since I have been too lazy to go out for my morning walks (I wake up 4am everyday and I’m too tired to go for a walk) I was thinking of getting a treadmill.

With a fun run with friends a few days to go, I might have to crawl my way to the finish line because I haven’t been keeping in shape for months. Ugh.

Between a treadmill and treatment for arthritis, which one would you choose?

I’d probably choose taking a walk because I don’t have to pay for it 😀

Beauty Stores

I love going to beauty stores and look at the variety of beauty products being sold there.Yeah, look since I don’t really buy a lot of these, only the basic things I need.

According to a news bit I heard a while back, economy may not do well but beauty products still sell. Hmmm…

The smell (well, depends on how strong or light this is since I have tend to sneeze when the smell is strong) is also one that makes me go where these beauty products can be found: makeup, perfumes, colognes, acne products, brushes, lipstick and skin creams.

I mostly use products that have natural ingredients and also those that do not smell strong because if they do, Achoo! excuse me!

I Want to Burn Fat and Win an iPad

I bought several bottles of a fruit drink that has propionyl l-carnitine not because I want to burn fats but because the scratch-off-and-get-the-code part might make me win an iPad 😀

Fit 'n Right

This is a favorite drink in the house and I rarely buy the small bottles because I get the big one liter bottles.

Yes, it will burn fat with regular exercise and proper diet. Can it be possible to not include the last two parts? 😀

Private Matters

People are happy to finally find their long-lost elementary or high school classmates in Facebook. Isn’t it exciting to finally get in touch with these people after a long time?

Of course! you say. And so you share your intimate details in your page for everyone’s perusal: birthdate, employers, pages, organizations you like, TV shows you watch, photos of your families, photos of yourself, your email addresses, your mobile numbers and even your home address.

No problem these people are your friends, you say. Ok then, your call.

Problem happens when your friends have friends who can see you and have not-so-good plans after seeing your lovely grand home and reading that you will be away from a vacation for several days.

That is probably worse than writing about the need for a cure for herpes read by your partner.

Strangers can see and read those too because I happened to read and saw a LOT of these status updates and photos that are best kept hidden from strangers.

You don’t know what I am talking about? Check your privacy setting. Hide your tagged photos from people you don’t want looking at them.

Rip, Pour and Shake with Tang Pick & Go

There was a lot of excitement and curiosity over “Help Xyriel Find Her Missing Lunch Box” billboard ads and flyers.   Xyriel Manabat‘s Mission: Lunchbox was launch simultaneously in three key cities.

Missing Lunchbox

Kids from all over Metro Manila, Cebu and Davao helped Agua Bendita and Momay child star Xyriel Manabat find her lost lunchbox.

Tang Pick & Go

They played games, designed their own lunchboxes and won exciting prizes.
