August Rush

Have you watched the movie “August Rush”?

I did. I cried. I love the movie. I love the music.

August Rush OST

August Rush said: “The music is all around you, all you have to do is listen.”

He also said: “But I believe in music… The way that some people believe in fairy tales.”

Wizard said: “You know what music is? God’s little reminder that there’s something else besides us in this universe, a harmonic connection between all living beings, every where, even the stars.”

Classical music, my other entry.

Sarap ng Buhay with Kraft Eden Cheese

Kraft Eden Cheese aims to target having 5,000 Filipino dishes cooked to set a Guinness World Record on December 14, 2009 at the Araneta Coliseum.

Eden-Range

5,000 dishes? Filipino food, a fusion of the many scrumptious concoctions from the different cultural influences we had for several centuries, have evolved and these definitely can mean uniquely extra-ordinary and uber delicious.

Foodies, chefs, people who love to cook, culinary arts students and kusineros and kusineras will be whipping up these 5,000 dishes using Kraft Eden Cheese on December 14, 2009 at Araneta Coliseum.

Be a YUMM (Your Ulam, Mas Masarap) member and contribute your cheese recipes at the Sarap ng Buhay website.

I am contributing this Cheesy Turon recipe, yipee!

Cheese is a must-have item in our home. There are times when we just munch on cheese slices. The children and hubby too love to put heaps of cheese on their pasta.

French toast for breakfast or afternoon snacks have cheese slices in it:

Sandwiches are like meals in itself, with cheese and tomato slices and greens. Easy to prepare and easy to bring when going to the workplace or doing chores outside the home.

Gallop

The brown pony galloped towards the meadow. The young girl riding on its back is so happy to be out today. She loves to go riding and feel the cool breeze on her face. She will pick up wild flowers to bring home to her mom.

End of entry for oneword.

If only things are this easy and fun and people do not have to think of war, poverty, famine, child abuse, health insurance leads issues and concerns.

Alas, such is not possible for we have to undergo a lot of challenges which will make us better persons who hope to be able to cope with even more and bigger challenges.

One Word: HeadBand

She got her headband and gingerly fixed her hair. It is their first date after all and she wanted to look fabulous.

She is excited, giddy with anticipation. Would they have a good time together? Would there be a second one after this?

Ahhh… (buzzer sounded)

One word: incense

My 60 second answer:

“He lit the incense sticks and sat down to quietly reflect on what has been happening in his life lately.

His thoughts lingered to how he really feels about the girl he loves so much.”
