Blog Revamp with IM Creator

I want to revamp my special education teacher blog, Teacher Julie. I also want to do this with the other blogs.

I love the header but it has been my header and blog template since I started blogging back in 2006. I have an idea what I want but it would probably take me a few thousand pesos to be able to do so. I don’t want to get myself involved in a blog coaching project with others because… Oh well.

So I found IM Creator and I will be heading off to the site in a few minutes after this has been posted.

Am excited!

Vegetarian Bagoong

I made a big jar of Vegetarian Bagoong.

The resident “nose” and “tongue” aka taste tester in the house said she loves it. She even had two Indian mangoes eaten with the vegetarian bagoong.

Homemade Vegetarian bagoong

And yeah, I plan to sell this healthy alternative to the usual bagoong alamang or shrimp paste soon.

Email me for orders 😀

Homemade Cookie Butter

This is a jar of Homemade Cookie Butter that I just made today. The eldest child gave her two thumbs up so I guess I’m good to go make more to sell. Email me for details if you want to order 😀

Waiting for the Waves

Ahhh…to be young, carefree and not have a lot of stress.

Waiting for the waves

Can’t we just be these three for a while? No responsibilities to think of, no more bills to pay or no bargaining with tenacious teens who not just ask for big allowances, or plain ask for the moon to be handed on a silver platter.

Sorry honey, it doesn’t work that way, you have to have responsibilities that go with whatever you fee you need to have, as long as your parents can afford it.

Practical Gifts

Did you give practical gifts last Christmas?

You know, things that can be used by the recipient? Or would these just gather dust and be discarded after a year?

I think we did. One of the gifts we gave away to the teachers were handmade notepads which they can use just in case they needed to write down notes and thoughts. The notepads were not big and could easily fit in a small bag.

These were the papers we used for the notepads. For more info on how these notepads were made, click here.

For the person who loves arts and crafts, arts and crafts materials are the best to give. For the one who loves to cook, a cookbook or a kitchen gadget.

These were just some ideas and I’m sure there are so much more practical gift ideas out there.
