The Great Brazilian Madness Sale is happening at Trinoma from September 24 – September 26, 2012.
Our experience:
iMom and I went there early but we were already late because the lines to the cashier were long and winding and went on and on and on.
So we were already lining up for an hour and a half or maybe more, when we spotted a short line. I asked what that was for and the staff said the line is for the line is for the disabled, pregnant and senior citizens. I was wearing my ankle support so we got in the line. Yipee!
My loot included two pairs of Grendha sandals for my youngest daughter (Php500.00), 2 pairs of Grendha jelly slippers for me (Php700) and a pair of Rider slippers for the eldest daughter (Php600.00).
A few tips:
Go early
Wear comfortable shoes and clothes
Don’t bring children
Don’t carry a heavy bag
Have someone with you who can alternately fall in line while you get your loot and vice versa.
Roses and candles as a table setting is something that sounds and looks just right.
This crappy photo was taken during a family friend’s youngest son’s baptismal gathering. I love how the ambience looked classic and lovely. The details are just wonderful!
This made me look for online photos of scented candles (never mind if I have allergies, lol) and among the sites I saw, diptyque piqued my interest.
Why?
In the past I wanted to have a scented candles business 🙂 I can still have it now, if I spend time on it, right?
Tipco 100% Juice is one juice that we love! My eldest daughter just loves Purple Carrot while the other kids are not hesitant to try the other flavors including the vegetable juices.

I wrote about how fun it is to use my X-Mini v1.1 when I listen to music whenever I am working in the home’s library/home office. I also wrote about these new speakers that the husband recently purchased.
Between these two, there is a lot of music playing at out home.
I wonder if the next purchase would be an mbox at musicians friend since the eldest child loves to play with the Korg, which can be attached to the computer so that she can use programs to make musical arrangements. Not sure with this last part because the synthesizer is “old” and therefore may require older software to be able to play.
Music is the “universal language of the soul”. So people say.
There’s music in the sighing of a reed;
There’s music in the gushing of a rill;
There’s music in all things, if men had ears:
Their earth is but an echo of the spheres.
~Lord Byron
This household of ours love music. Just recently the husband got a pair of new kickass speakers for the bedroom. Music plays from the speakers day in and day out. The husband who is fond of music from Jim Chappell and David Benoit can now listen to their compositions to his hearts delight. I also listen to my playlist or use the speakers to watch videos playing on my tablet 😀
Here is a Jim Chappell video for “Gone”, one of the husband’s favorite.
Sometimes it feels like we have a live piano player playing from a p 155 guitar center room at home. It’s all good and I can’t complain.
I need arch strap and I have been to a lot of sports stores selling anything that supports injured or otherwise body parts but I can’t find one.
That is my foot, encased in an LP ankle support. It does little wonders, my heel spur is not that painful when I wear it. I’ve read about arch strap and that is one thing that I need to have. As in now if you please, 😀
Further reading brought me to superfeet insoles here and it got me interested. Would this be another answer to my heel spur pain? I hope I would be able to find a pair that suits me just fine when I do my round of sports stores again.
I hope superfeet insoles have supplies I can buy here in the Philippines!
