Last week, the race kit arrived for the 2011 Unilab Active Health Run United 1. And I’m not ready yet, not then when the race kit arrived and not now.
Sigh.
I think I’m hitting a plateau with regards to my fitness routine and instead of losing weight, I gained more. I don’t know what’s happening, been dancing and hooping myself crazy on a day to day basis for several weeks but last week I stopped abruptly. Maybe it was because we had a Mr Fix-it guy coming to work inside the house as well as on the roof. Maybe because I was too lazy to get up on my feet and move.
Someone else suggested I try the best diet pills for women but I’m not sure I’m ready to do just that yet.
I’m going to try again. Tomorrow. I hope.

Showbizlandia had been abuzzed about that billboard that didn’t look right. This issue sparked a verbal spat and the said photo is seen in this magazine feature:
To those who saw this in a billboard along the metro’s busiest highway (that includes me, though I wasn’t able to take a photo because I was dumbfounded) were quite surprised and probably asked a lot of questions. Did she have a non-invasive procedure? Did she use a lipo 6? How rigid was the fitness program and diet, if there were any?
I see nothing wrong in the picture BUT as my children exclaimed, SC doesn’t look like that on television so why is she pictured as such? Uh-oh.
Is it really thank you MF or thank you Adobe?

It has been almost a month ago since I blogged about the handmade notepad I made.
When I was too excited to make these, I used small tools to make the notepads. Good thing we have these because from time to time, or when inspiration strikes, I do some crafts. The following were the things I used to make these:
- cutter for the colored papers
- scissors to trim the sides of the cut papers
- glue
- stickers and scrap-booking embellishments
- one hole puncher for the ring
- one-inch and half an inch rings, depending on how many papers to be used Continue Reading »

Have you signed up for any of these online discount sites? I did with two or three though I haven’t got a major buy yet like some of my friends did.
I would love to but if I do, I’d probably end up broke. Good thing I can still manage to keep control since I use a debit card and not a credit card, I have to be practical and realistic about these things.
How does one weigh the options when buying discount vouchers?
- Buy what is needed. For example a buffet offering is nice if there is a birthday celebration within the months you can use the vouchers. If you are allowed to get as many as 5 vouchers, then go for it.
- An out of town hotel stay is great but make sure you get the plane tickets before the offer expire or else you wasted your money with it.
- Which one do you really need a spa appointment or acne scar treatments? If you can afford both, then go for it but if you can afford only one, then get the deal that you like better.
In the end, you get the best deals for the deals you really need and not because the deal was a good buy.

Are you a directionally challenged navigator? Do you point to the left and say right? Do you point to the right and say left? Do get “lost” when looking at a street map so you want to get that latest gps map installed in your car?
Thank God for visual signs like a McDonald’s or a convenience store at the corner street where you’re supposed to turn left. Or was it right?
Rotundas or roundabouts feel like that spinning wheel the gerbils are playing on, it goes round and round to you and it feels like you can’t find the street where you are supposed to have exited after going around 4 times. or was it six?
Don’t worry, it is not bad to stop and ask for directions.
If in doubt, ask.
Left or right? Don’t ask me, I’m lost too 😉
