Rodic’s Tapsilog
Lasang Pinoy Sundays theme for this week is all about the “walang kamatayang” SILOG.
The more popular terms are tapsilog, longsilog and tocilog.
But now there are different varieties like hotdogsilog, Ces’ entry pusitlog, danggitsilog, spamsilog, cornedbeefsilog, friedchickensilog, hamsilog and anything and everything that catches the fancy of the one preparing the food or the one who will eat the preparation.
Imagination has no limitation when it comes to the silog combination.
Below is our all-time favorite Rodic’s tapsilog, which I also featured several times in my blogs with the tapa already flaked for easier chewing π
Rodic’s tapsilog on our picnic mat.
When my hubby had our photo taken, our son didn’t look at the camera because he was busy eating his tapsilog. When asked why, he said he missed eating the combo π
oh i remember this:) i must really try this one TJ:) thanks for playing!:)
The famous Rodic’s but really I favor Tapa King more. π Good morning Julie!
Sounds YUM!
Tanong ko lang… is it crunchy?
Ha ha ha! Oo nga naman, kapag ganyan kasarap ang nasa harap mo, attack agad *lol*
Tapsilog forever!!! Sarap sarap! π
Thanks Ces π
Ahh, Tapa King is wonderful too but the kids would have a hard time chewing the meat π
Crunchy? Not, not crunchy like some adobo flakes or “toasted” corned beef, just soft enough for the kids AND adults to enjoy without chewing too much on the beef π
Ilalagay ko sana yung photo kaya lang baka magalit siya eh π
Favorite kasi dn niya itong tapsilog na ito π
Immortal yan eh no? π Gusto ko din ito me sukang maanghang ng konti, hehehe..
It must perfect for outings and picnics.
picnic? perfect picnic baon ang mga silog! hee hee. π
hahahaha sa akin naman I go and order a combo totapsilog π
Serving mine here
