Ilocanos call these “ar-arusip” while the Visayans call these “lato”
What exactly is this all about? The green seaweed or Caulerpa lentillifera.
I grew up in a coastal province eating this together with fried or grilled fish. The ar-arusip I knew always come in a bowl with fresh tomatoes and onions. So this is what I serve whenever I have the chance to buy it in a wet market.
The lowly ar-arusip or lato is a good source of iron, iodine, calcium and vitamins A and C. Click here to read.

It has been a long time since we have been to this place.
In fact it was over a year ago when we last went here and I must say I miss the view of the
Sierra Madre Mountain range from this view deck as well as the view of the
hanging bridge.
Not that this place is that spectacular or breathtaking, I just feel comfortable in this place, breathing fresh mountain breeze and listening to the sound of leaves rustling when the soft wind blows.
Here is another set of photos with views from the passenger windows.

Elmer’s Glue All Multi-Purpose Glue is what we use with the homeschooling children.
We use this glue for our crafts, for gluing photos, for additional enrichment activities. This also works best with other projects requiring the use of glue.
As with other products, it is best to practice good precautions regarding safety. Click here to read about Elmer’s Glue All MSDS or Material Safety Data Sheet.

This song by Willie Nelson has been playing in my mind while I was thinking about the entry that I will make for Photo Hunters. Since we have lots, I mean really lots of photos of roads going to different destinations, choosing just one was a bit hard.
By the way, I have another entry here.
I chose the photo above however. We were on the way home from visiting my parents and getting the children who stayed there for several weeks last summer (April and May). The sunset was so wonderful I just had to put my hand outside the window and take a photo while we are on the move. It was just fortunate that the photo was good enough for me considering it was only one shot that I took on that spot.
