Late Night Movie Dates

Hubby and I have taken to viewing movies or tv series late at night. Yes, we are up till after midnight at time, watching and munching. The other night we watched The Ghost Writer munching on roasted garlic nuts, potato chips and sharing a bottle of Mountain Dew.

No movie tickets to buy, parking fees to pay and gasoline to burn. Sounds good to me.

Of course I don’t need to say that this is not going the way I want especially regarding the waist management. Diet pills that work fast, come to me! LOL

Anyway, The Ghost Writer is a good movie considering I can relate to, not with the plot but with the work. It was at first a bit confusing but as the movie progressed, the plot thickens smoothly. I do write online articles where my name doesn’t appear. Yes, it’s true. There are other articles where my name appears like this trove of wonderful articles site oh no! sadly the site has been closed. Sad, sad, day.

So while this closed, I still have other online writing tasks to finish. In fact I have a pending article right now which I will be doing in a while.

Cabin Fever

This Christmas break is truly a break for us and the children, it seems, are having cabin fever, having been cooped up at home for several days. BUT! I don’t want to go to the malls to while away the time because

a) it’s expensive;

b) it’s crowded with too many people;

c) we don’t want to get sick.

This cool weather, though I love so much because there is no oppressing heat, is causing a lot of people having asthma attacks (thank God there’s none for my son though he had an attack a week before Christmas) and respiratory-related illnesses so much so that people who wear scrubs uniforms are in for the long haul even after the new year.

Respiratory illnesses and the virus that cause these are airborne and we don’t want to catch any viruses from others so we will stay home to be safe than sorry 🙂

Happy Moments

Weddings are wonderful occasions where everyone is dressed up to the nines, male and female alike, children too.

Berlin and Tin

Weddings make people happy. Weddings make people cry (ok, that also includes the financial aspect, lol).  Weddings make some married couples relive their vows and feel like newlyweds again. Children on the other hand feel the “magic” that wedding celebrations bring. Continue Reading »
