Abenson’s Bulacan Bayanihan Program

Rain + Floods = Broken electronics and not to mention broken spirits.

Regardless of who needs help, we Filipinos come together to help our kababayans during times of calamities. Abenson has stepped up to help Bulakeños inundated by flood water through its Bayanihan Program.

Through its ‘We Serve’ program, the leading appliance store in the country will be offering free laundry services, free appliance cleaning, checkups, and discounts on spare parts for electronics. This bayanihan effort is in cooperation with Samsung, Sharp, LG, TCL, Kelvinator, Condura, Fujindenzo, and Whirlpool, though the help of the Bulacan provincial government.

Abenson will be offering its services in the following areas on these dates:

October 25 (Tuesday) : Sta. Monica Covered Court, Hagonoy
October 26 (Wednesday) : Municipal Covered Court, Paombong
October 27 (Thursday) : Sports Complex and Convention Center, Malolos
October 28 (Friday) : Poblacion Sports Complex, Calumpit

As expected, Abenson remains true to its commitment to giving Filipinos quality service and living up to the tenets of the bayanihan spirit by extending help to all in need.

Moving Means Losing the Weight

“If I were to lose you, I’d say good riddance”

YOU = weight.

I’m here yet again, doing the click here for appetite suppressants thing.

I’ve yet to lose the weight that has been here for a long time. I don’t think I can achieve the “ideal” weight. First things first, I’ve stopped doing anything that will help me. No more hula-hooping. No more Zumba dancing. No more early morning walks. I haven’t opened this book for a long time.

The fact that I signed up to join the Millennium Run for Women’s Health should have been a starting point to go back to any kind of fitness routine that I know of but nada. No inspiration nor initiative to do so.

Frustrating, especially when I see these food photos I took 😀

Yiruma

I’ve always admired people who play the piano well. Ahem, the hubby used to play the piano for me. Used to, he can’t find time to play these days, being busy and all that stuff. All he ever ticks are laptop keyboards.

The hubby and I watched Jim Chappell from a different lifetime. We enjoy Yanni’s music, as well as David Benoit’s and maybe a couple more that I can’t remember.

A while ago I was listening (or more like You-Tubing) to a young man play the guitar with exceptional skills, I noticed the name Yiruma beside his videos. They are both Koreans.

Here is a video of Yiruma’s music.

Be prepared to be touched with the emotions that go with the song. It will surely tug your heart strings and open those tear ducts.

Last Exile – Fam, The Silver Wing

Last Exile – Fam, The Silver Wing is Last Exile sequel from the anime hit series in 2003. Fam Fan Fan and her best friend Giselle star in the new series.

Last Exile -Fam, The Silver Wing

Together with other members of the Sky Pirates, they hunt spaceships and resell these. Pretty cool until Fam Fan Fan and Giselle are caught in a conflict that between nations where a war erupts.

Follow their adventures at Animax as it premieres on October 15. I wonder if this can be watched using an HD7.

Christmas Party Raffle

During last year’s Christmas Day lunch with the in-laws, I raffled out some goodies. This year, I’m planning to do this again so I am starting to put together a lot of things to fill up a bag for the raffle:

  • lanyards with different colors
  • baller bracelets of different colors
  • skin care products
  • shirts
  • accessories like bracelets, steel necklace and fancy earrings
  • knick-knacks like fans, folders, green bags
  • caps
  • water bottles
  • children’s bags

I hope no one gets a sad face this year. Sad face = sorry no more gift left.
