Been looking at some of the food photos I have in my blogs and in my files and I was really amazed at how these food, no matter how delicious these may be, can contribute to clogging of the arteries, weight gain and a list of illnesses.
While watching an episode of “The Mentalist” last night, Patrick Jane was talking to a chef about butter in the food and the chef said: “Its the great thing about food, its indulgence and necessity at the same time.”
Yes, its true but how should far people give in to the indulgence?
I love food but of course, I also have to take into consideration the kind of food that I put in me. After all, we really should eat to live and not the other way around.

Summer to me means fruits in season are a-plenty.
Summer means mangoes, ripe or green, watermelons, melons, pineapples and strawberries are in season too.
Take your pick and have a refreshing and healthy snack 🙂

Walking is the theme for Photo Hunter and the first thing that came to mind was Robert Frost’s poem: “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening”
In another PH entry is a photo of my two younger children and my husband walking hand-in-hand.
Below is a B & W photo of a wooded area that we love to go to:
I know there is no snow here but I think this is a fitting photo for my interpretation of the poem considering my geographical location 😉
This is one of our family’s favorite Sunday destination where we can go walking in the woods and biking and even have picnic lunch on a mat.
I also used Robert Frost’s “The Road not Taken” in another PH post about roads.
