Pan Fried Pork Steak

This is the second week of the weekly Lunchbox Meme that we have over at the FilipinoMomBlog.com.

Below is a photo of my eldest daughter’s food container which she brought to school last week. Yesterday, she had this.

Pan-fried pork steak, marinated in soy sauce and ground pepper.

This was fried an a non-stick frying pan with very little oil. While frying, mushroom sauce as well as Hickory barbecue sauce for added flavors.

Along with these are sandwiches and milk drinks for snacks.

That’s one of the kids’ faves too, along with pork steak ala bistek-Tagalog. But i haven’t done it with mushroom sauce or hickory bbq sauce… It sounds like a yummy idea. Thanks for sharing. πŸ™‚

This is what I have been missing in our menu. I have not done this for ages, mostly greens and chicken kasi. I can smell it now. I just might do something like this this week. Hmmm, sarap.

We haven’t had this for months, Lynn but my daughter loves to have this for her baon πŸ™‚ Try nyo, yummy. You can also try this with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies.
