Car shows do not just showcase new rides, new products and services, lovely ladies and colorful paints. Car shows showcase intricate light arrangements to play on the cars’ features and highlights.

Confetti falling from the roof adds up to the excitement of events and gatherings, especially during ceremonial toasts, congratulatory portion and awarding of grand prizes.
Of course, this could be a bit of a problem during toasts.
When we went to the opening ceremony of the recently concluded Manila International Auto Show, some of the confetti from the roof looked like loose diamonds, according to my daughter who was watching from a distance.
Well, if that’s the case, I would be the first to catch a few 😀

Below is a photo that I took some months back when we went to watch Russ Swift do precision driving stunts. While Russ Swift was doing his stunts like J turns and donuts and two car-wheelies, the crowds went wild with cheers and applause.
