Jose Rizal House

Jose Rizal, being the Philippine National Hero, has his Calamba, Laguna family house as one of the more popular educational field trip destinations of elementary school children.

The home furnishings (not exactly cabin furniture but made from dark wood), the newer nipa hut and a dog replica in the garden and so much more can be seen here. A mini museum features Rizal’s clothes and books among other things.

The house is grand. And I am sure when little Pepe and his siblings were still alive then, the house resonates their laughter and chatter.

    Hi!

We are scheduled to have a farm visit at Sta. Elena on March 17, this coming Saturday. I would like to ask if we can also schedule a visit to Rizal’s house since we are already in Laguna.

Will be waiting for your reply.

    Thanks,
    Yvonne

    Hi Yvonne,

This trip was arranged by a tour company so the itinerary was fixed by them. I suggest you do a little research first if the Jose Rizal house is available to visiting tourists this Saturday.
