Scale Model of USS Nimitz CVN-68
The theme for this Saturday is NAUTICAL.
We have several photos taken from passenger ships but I am too lazy to look for them in the files. Nautical commuting is a big thing in this island of 7,107 islands called the Philippines. Yes, we are surrounded by water.
I chose the photo below as my entry because model scales are wonderful and very detailed. So now I present a scale model of the USS Nmitz CVN-68.
Scale model of USS Nimitz CVN-68
This photo was taken late last year from an exhibit about scale models ranging from toy soldiers to cars and locomotives, as well as war planes and war ships. It was a bit difficult to take photos through a glass but I managed a bit. That is until the kids started to get bored 😀
cool entry. have a good weekend.

Great shot for the theme. Happy weekend.
That’s what happened when I took one too many shots during any events. I finally decided to use the BSS (Best Shot Selector) function I have in my camera to solve all the grumbling and cursing.. haha. One main problem with using that is that you have to take a few shots as your best might be a blur. 😛
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Wow that’s an impressive model. I bet it was pretty big too! Happy weekend
love how life-like the water segment is!
Wow! Great shot. Looks amazing.
Neat idea and great photo.
Blessings

Wow, what a model!! I can not imagine putting that together.
That’s a very detailed model. Wow. Happy weekend, happy Valentine’s Day, and happy hunting!
Somebody spent a while on this one I’m betting. That’s a serious model! Nice shot through glass like that.
I love scale models too. They make us see things like we are giants or something. 🙂
Thanks for visiting via Photohunt.
That’s a great model. I find scale models fascinating.
