I agree – Collette’s Buko Pie is not as good as it used to be… We now prefer the buko crumble tartlets made by the nuns (I forget which particular order they belong to) in Tagaytay.

It is a great layered entry though…

the thing about buko pies is that they tend to taste “carboard-y” after awhile because of the packaging. masarap daw ang “D Original” near UPLB. Maybe we should try that soon

Some say that buco pie in a red box (I forgot the name) was much more delicious compared to Collete’s, pero biased ako eh… fave ko pa rin si Collete’s. =)
